I came to Beautique for haircuts for my daugher and I on the recommendation from a friend. When we arrived at the salon, there appeared to be some sort of issue going on with a customer and some of the staff. We waited patiently and were told after a few minutes that there would be a wait of 15 minutes. We were willing to wait but then 30 minutes went by and we simply could not stay any longer. I happened to have a second appointment booked later in the day for myself and I asked that the appointment be converted into an appointment for my daughter. When we came back, it was a whole other story. The staff was very kind and apologetic. They were very friendly to my children and I. They also comped the haircut. I really appreciate the way the salon turned a very bad impression into a positive experience for all of us. It ended up being great customer service and my daughter and I plan to return!

Hands down, Laura is one of the best hairdressers I have ever seen. Back in the day I went to hairstylists on Newbury Street in Boston. Not only was she able to keep up with my loquaciousness because of last day (layoffs) of my entire former department, she delivered a stunning cut. For the ladies who have fine/shorter hair, I 1000% recommend her. I cannot wait to have my hair colored there. Just an amazing place that I never knew was there. Right by the rotary and ample parking. What a treat!

I HIGHLY recommend Lilliana if you’re getting a lash lift or any kind of treatment. She was so sweet, super professional, and really knew what she was doing. I’ve been getting my lashes done for over three years, and I’ve never seen results like this—there’s a huge difference compared to other places I’ve been. Anyhow, I was very pleased that the teeth whitening service was not only discounted but the time was cut in half for her with still a very positive result. As funds permit, I hope to come back to this salon.

On a side not I did reach out to see about a consultation with one of the hair stylists about a consultation on a new and drastically different haircut. I will schedule with one of your stylists you suggest with in a few moths so i can let it grow out a bit. sorry for the ramble here but the service over all was amazing and Beth was awesome to work with! I had never been to Beautique Salon before. I had always gone to another well known salon in Newburyport. However that salon doesn't offer eyebrow threading, and I had always wanted to try it. I had Shailyn and she was fantastic! Having never had threading or henna done on my eyebrows before. She was very knowledgeable and went through the whole process with me before we started. I had a great experience and loved how my eyebrows looked when they were done. I will absolutely be coming back!

(and you never associate waxing with gentle...LOL). If your thinking about trying Beautique...stop thinking and start booking!

Lilliana did such a great job on my Procell treatment. This is my second one. She is so comforting and professional and made the process seamless. After 24 hours my skin looks amazing and I can’t wait to see the results next week! I highly recommend Lilliana and the procell treatment for anti-aging and removal of dark spots. It should be on one of the side walls rather than the same wall as the door. I only noticed it afterwards. The tips are useful. A few items I noticed during my first time here of the overall space: The consent could not be printed prior to arrival at the desk & 5 minutes was spent with the technician reading it to me. It was awkward and a misuse of time. If it could be sent electronically prior to the appointment my text or email or on an iPad onsite that would be helpful. The space upstairs on a 34 degree days was a bit chilly & toward the end of the appointment it became uncomfortable. The technician herself even said she was cold. Upon checking out, the staff member at the desk was eating from a to go container. I told her to take her time, but honestly a break should be provided & not in front of customers.

I received a signature facial and added on the microdermabrasion. When I booked the appointment online, it stated that if you added microdermabrasion to a facial, it would an extra $50, so I was under the impression when I checked out it would be $160 or so. However, the facial was amazing. Hahn is very knowledgeable and it was one of the best facials I’ve ever had!! Prices were higher than expected but sometimes it doesn’t matter when you want clear skin! I will definitely be back!!!

In January I had a spinal fusion, in May I suffered a bad fall and broke my right ankle and fractured my fibula bone in lower right leg, and in October I had a total hip replacement on the left! My CNA at AJH had the most beautiful eye lashes and I asked her about them. She told me about the Beautique Salon and Spa in Newburyport and I decided right then and there I needed a day of pampering! I made an appt with Hanh for a lash extension and brow tint, and I couldn't believe the transformation. I am very pleased with the excellent work that she did and can't wait to go back. It was so relaxing, and I definitely felt pampered. So glad I made this discovery, and a big thank you to my friend at AJH!

I feel safe coming here. Shailin took extraordinary care with my hair. She really listened and was very detail-oriented. When he left the salon for a different career, I needed to find a new salon closer to home. It is a very zen atmosphere. Her staff was extremely friendly and professional. Although the commute is approximately 35 minutes one way, I think I found a new home! Great place and great hours! As a stylist myself I am particular to say the least, and Katie did an unbelievable job. My hair is super thick, long, curly and coarse so it’s definitely not the easiest. It did start a little later than expected and took an hour (which I did expect and plan for) however I was told over the phone it would last 30 mins. As someone who is not talented in styling their own hair I do expect some advice/their opinion on what is best which I didn't really receive here but I would come again! The curls did loosen up how I wanted them to look so I was very happy.

The final result was excellent but the attitude unforgivable. We loved our Make up artists! Real jems, sweet natured & very skillful.

This is my first visit to your salon. Josie tinted and waxed my eyebrows today. She did an OUTSTANDING job!!! Josie suggested tinting, which I’ve never before and it came out GREAT! I was a bit thrown off when I arrived 5-10 mins before my appointment time, to an empty room and no front desk reception. I thought I was in the wrong location. I tried calling 2x and only got a voicemail. The therapist arrived, didn’t greet me and almost walked right past me. I initally got a weird feeling because things didn’t start off that great. I did enjoy my massage therapist Katie. It was clear she had experience and was very skilled. I was surprised of the lack of the interpersonal skills before and after my massage. I was not greeted at the end after my massage the therapist left and I didn’t get to give her a tip personally. I wasn’t clear who to pay for my massage. At this time three women who seemed to be employees were behind and near the desk chatting. I waited and finally was able to pay and leave. I would only recommend that costumer service be a priority, answering phones during business hours and being clear as to who to pay in the end.

Leah always makes sure she is 100000% on top of her lash/skin game and is the first to ensure that all of her girls follow the same standards she would. I've been seeing Leah and other artists at her salon for a few years now and they are by far the most knowledgable and professional salon. Im going to call about my leg waxing because they didnt remove all the hair. It was my first time having it done, so I dont know if this is the norm or not. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel good about being there.

I went to Beautique one day for an eyebrow/upper lip wax and then returned a few days later for a haircut. My eyebrows were done by Leah and my cut and blow dry by Lindsey. I must say after my experience both times I can truthfully say I am in love with this salon! I am new to the Newburyport area and was concerned about finding a new salon. First, Leah did an amazing job on my brows! I'm very picky about who I let touch my brows as a lot of people usually shape them too thin and it makes my face look funny. Not Leah! She knew how to work with their natural shape and did an amazing job of keeping their thickness! Second, Lindsey's work on my hair was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that! My hair looked healthier than when I walked in the door. All of my friends commented on how gorgeous my hair looked after my cut and blow dry! And she was so fast! I got a trim and a blow dry and was in and out in 30 minutes! Which is amazing because I went during my work day and was able to get back to work in no time! All of the staff were super friendly and made the transition to a new place very easy! I will definitely be back for more services! I highly recommend Beautique!

I had a facial with Alexandra and could not be happier. She immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She is very skilled and very knowledgeable. The staff at Beautique was warm and welcoming as they accommodated me for a last minute spray tan. They were professional and did a thorough job explaining the process to insure I received the correct shade of tan. My spray tan was even and looked great when it was done and even better the next day! The salon was clean and beautifully decorated. I will definitely recommend them to people! Thank you!

I just had my first facial at Beautique with Sarah and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was very clean and serene and Sarah was so sweet, knowledgeable and attentive. I left a spa that was very pushy with their harsh products without taking much consideration for my sensitive skin. I came in with overly dry and damaged skin and left feeling clear, soft and hydrated - I even got a mask to take home! I have already recommended Beautique to family and friends.

I thought Tammy did a perfect job trimming my hair. She was able to keep the length while adding nice layers. I was also impressed with how quickly she blow-dried it while still making it look great. The salon is beautifully decorated and has a very nice atmosphere. I will absolutely be back!

I am new to the area and heard from several locals that Tammy was the best. They were right! Tammy listened to what I wanted and then made some great suggestions as well. My foil and cut looks great. She is professional, friendly and very talented. I would not hesitate to go back. I will be returning to the spa to see Raena for skin care and brows later in the week.

Tammy was a gem, I told her that I needed a "new look" and she showed me several photos (on her phone). It was obvious that she really listened to me because she brought up a picture of just what I was looking for, and when she completed the cut and blow out I was very pleased with the result.
